Title

Children attending the Negros Occidental Conference schools come from very poor homes. In some cases, the parents have been able to find work, but the wages are so low they are barely able to provide food and shelter for their families. The inflation rate has almost negated the value of their currency. Most of the nine schools are located in mountain villages and all are situated on the Island of Negros in newly reached mission fields.
